This is an extraordinary village. You feels as though you have stepped back in time. Or maybe into another country. The town was built a very long time ago and has been artfully restored.

We had a lovely day in Eureka springs but it is also a nice place to stay. There are many bed and breakfast, hotels, cozy restaurants, and many shops to check out. It is a lovely place. I bought a nice small leather pocket book for only $7.99 at PLANET LEATHER. Some very nice Victorian houses to explore with beautiful gardens. For those who like antiques or handmade furniture this town has both.
The Queen Anne mansion Museum is beautiful to see.
The glass chapel is very beautiful; one can see how it offers serenity.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen Anne mansion is amazing! I have only had one experience in Arkansas, it was for one night passing through, and it it was in a tent zipped tight to keep out the veracious mosquitos. I had to make a call on a pay phone that night and had to pay for it for the rest of my month long trip, scratching and scratching healing skeeter bites : ). I wished I had gotten the opportunity to see this side of Arkansas.
ReplyDeleteI have never visited Arkansas, from your blog looks like there is a lot of history and would be worthy of a trip. Looking forward to your next post.
